Wear as many pockets as you can

Wednesday: Choose a character you like.

Dress for Wacky Wednesday

Thursday:  Get your costume together and practice answering your interview.

Wear silly socks

Friday:  Dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character, bring your interview questions and answers, and be ready to be interviewed!

New Homework Boards coming home this week!!

Monday:  Finish your READO and then start with the WRITE board.

Tuesday:  Study your math facts ( you should know all up to 5’s) then use the hundred board sent home to practice some other math skills.

Wednesday:  the next prompt in your 100 things about me book.  You should have a topic sentence, at least 2 detail sentences and a closing sentence.  Please work neatly.

Thursday:  Study your word study words.  See new choice board to use when studying.

Friday:  Look for our newsletter for next week,READ ACROSS AMERICA DAY!

  I am including next week’s homework for  your planning !!

Monday:  Bring your favorite Dr. Seuss Book.

Tuesday:  Think about a character you would like to dress as (on Friday)  and look at the list of interview questions that come home today.  Try to come up with at least 1 question( and answer)that your character could give if interviewed.

Wednesday:  Work on your costume and interview question and answer

Thursday: Practice your interview and get your props ready

Friday: Dress as your favorite Dr. Suess Character.  Bring a list of at least 1 question that someone may use to interview you.  Please be ready with answers to the questions. ( For example:  if you are the Lorax a question might be what is your passion in life, answer may be my passion is the environment and standing up for the trees

Oops!

I left a little early today to pick up a sick child (one of mine) from school.  It looks as if I forgot to update the blog.  If you get a paper copy you should have gotten yours.  I will update as soon as I return on Wednesday.  In the meantime I did change some homework items.
Monday:  tonight you should have gotten a WRITE board.  This is instead or in addition to the READO work.  I would encourage both activities if it is a quiet night.
Tuesday:  Study math facts AND do one or two activities with the hundred board that should come home tonight.
Wednesday:  100 things about me.
Thursday: a new and more challenging word study practice list will come home today.  Are you up for the Challenge??

 Go out and build a snowman with a friend.  Fill out Snowman writing sheet by filling In the steps to follow when building a snowman.  This will be a rough draft for our class writing on Wednesday.

Wednesday: Write in your 100 things about me book.

Thursday:  study all word study words.
