Goals for the week:

To review all short and long vowel sounds.

To begin our measurement unit.

To identify asking, telling, and exclamatory sentences.

To review all the phonics rules we have been learning so far.

To continue to use capital letters and punctuation in sentences.

To self edit our writing using our writer’s eye.

To continue to work on Non-Fiction texts by reading about Theodor Seuss Geisel!

 

Homework :

Monday: bring your favorite Dr. Seuss book for our School wide Read Across America Day

Wear a hat!

Tuesday:  Character interview list will be sent home today. Choose 2 questions.

Wear as many pockets as you can

Wednesday: Choose a character you like to prepare for Friday.

Dress for Wacky Wednesday

Thursday:  Get your costume together and practice answering your interview questions.

Wear silly socks

Friday:  Dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character, bring your interview questions and answers, and be ready to be interviewed!
