Goals for the week:
To continue some of last weeks goals we did not finish due to snow!
To review all short vowel sounds.
To read and write words containing  blends, l,r , w and s.
To continue problem solving skills in unit 3 (problem solving, addition and subtraction)
To identify and use descriptive words.
To review diagraphs (ch, sh, th)
To review sounds and write the super “6” letters  (f,t,b,h,l,k)
To identify details in a story.
To retell a story.

Monday: Choose an activity from Reado and/or Write board.
Tuesday:  study math facts.  You should know all +/-1, +/-2,  and doubles.  We are starting doubles +/-1. You may use the math page in homework packet if it helps.
Wednesday: Write to the next prompt in your 100 things about me book.
Thursday:  study word study words using new tic tack toe board.  All unit 13
Friday:

* Dress for the weather the children are outside for recess for 30 min.!  Emphasize to your child that they should not be taking coats off at recess, it is now too cold!!!
* Lunch money must be in an envelope marked with a name.

 Request and Reminders:
Permission form for Nutcracker field trip 12/12 will come home this week.  Send back your permission slip for the Nutcracker performance at Henderson High ASAP!  Please note if you would like to be a chaperone.  It will be afternoon only.
