hope you all enjoyed your family time over the break.
Goals for the
week:
To review all short and long vowel sounds.
To continue practicing addition and subtraction.
To continue to use number bonds.
To identify place value and to count, compare and add
numbers to 20.
To read words with consonant clusters, three consonants
blended together.
To read and identify words with one and two syllables
To review how to divide syllables.
To identify and use descriptive words.
To identify details in a story.
To retell a story.

To listen and respond to Snowmen at Night as well as some
other snowmen and snow stories.
To welcome the New Year by making New Year resolutions.
To write about the fun we had over our winter break.
To have fun with the winter season by doing lots of
winter activities and writing.
The office may send a message to you to repurchase
supplies from the beginning of the year list.
You only need to replenish supplies that your child needs. Please ask them. Pencils, glue and crayons is what is mostly
needed.
Homework :
Monday: no school
Tuesday: study your math facts. ( All addition and
subtraction 1-5)
Wednesday: Fluency Folder (if you keep yours at home
please return this week for some new stories)
Thursday: to study
