Goals for
the week:
To read
Spring Stories, The Easter Egg Farm, The Easter Egg, The Old Lady who Swallowed
a Chick.
To continue
to discuss characters and character traits
To compare
and contrast fiction and nonfiction stories.
To identify
story elements and use them to retell fiction stories.
To read with
fluency and expression.
To create
and read a picture graph and a bar graph.
To use jelly
beans to graph, add and subtract.
To dye eggs
and to write a “how to” piece to explain to a friend.
Homework:
Monday:
Complete an activity on your READO or WRITE board
Tuesday:
Practice your math facts and/or an activity on the MATHO Board.
Wednesday: Bring in a hard boiled egg, wrapped in a
paper towel and in a safe container.
