Goals for the week:

To review all short and long vowel sounds.

To identify and use descriptive words.

To identify base words and endings.

To identify the number of syllables in a word by looking for talking vowels.

 To continue to use capital letters and punctuation in sentences.

To self edit our writing using our writer’s eye.

To listen and respond to The Flower Garden.

To make predictions about a story.

To practice reading with fluency.

To learn more about Groundhog day.

To experiment with shadows.

To write a poem about someone special.

To learn about geologist and to sort rocks by characteristics.

Thursday:  study word study words and math facts.  Time yourself!
