Goals for the
week:
To review all short vowel sounds.
To know that each syllable or word part has a talking
vowel.
To label talking vowels, to sort words by # of syllables.
To divide words into syllables and to create words using
more than one syllable
To continue working on collecting data and conducting
surveys.
To continue working on making and reading different types
of data representations.
To identify asking, telling, and exclamatory sentences.
To review all the phonics rules we have been learning so
far.
To use period, question marks and exclamation points.
To identify and use descriptive words.

of Presidents Day.
To Learn about famous African Americans as we celebrate
Black History Month.
Homework :
Work on all week:
Please decorate a box of some type for our
valentine box due Thursday.
Monday: editing homework.
Tuesday : work on valentines
Wednesday: work on
valentines and box.
Early dismissal today. (No lunch)
Thursday: Early
dismissal
Friday: No school
