To review all short vowel sounds.
To continue to work with addition and subtractions facts.

to subtract.

non-fiction story.
To compare and contrast characters in a story.
To study characters in a fiction story and identify
character traits.
To identify story elements while reading and retelling
stories.
To identify beginning, middle, and end of a story.
To identify facts and opinions.
To write about pumpkins using adjectives.
To write about pumpkins, giving facts in sequential
order.
To learn about the growth of a pumpkin and to put the
stages of growth into order using transitions.
To learn how to be an upstander and stand up against
bullying.
To watch Spookley the Pumpkin.
