Due to the short week next week we not have a newsletter!
Goals for the
week:
To review all short vowel sounds.
To identify long vowel sounds and times we see them
(vowel pair, magic e, open syllable)
To continue to work on addition and subtraction.
To continue to work on problem solving strategies.
To identify tens and ones as place value and to build
numbers using 10’s and 1’s.
To read and write words with l and r blends.
To identify and use descriptive words.
To identify details in a story.
To retell a story.
To read many more versions of Gingerbread stories.
To continue to compare and contrast Gingerbread stories.
